Electrician – Renewables / Solar PV
Location: Bristol, Plymouth & South West
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 Basic + Incentives (OTE £60,000)

Qualified Electricians are invited to join a growing company and gain experience in solar installations and high-quality electrical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems
- Carry out fault-finding and wiring for heating controls, door entry, and warden call systems
- Attend breakdowns and urgent repairs, including call-out rota
- Order parts and manage job schedules efficiently
- Comply with industry standards, company procedures, and health & safety regulations
- Log job updates using handheld PDA systems
- Communicate with residents and clients regarding work progress
- Maintain PPE, tools, and testing equipment
- Produce certificates, job sheets, and reports
- Submit timesheets, delivery notes, and expenses weekly
- Coordinate with plumbing and building teams
Experience Required
- Social Housing installation and maintenance projects
- Working with residents and clients
- Domestic heating wiring experience or willingness to learn
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to pass DBS check
Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18)
- AM2
- C&G 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing
- Experience or transferable skills in door entry and warden call systems
- Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills
- Professionalism, punctuality, and flexibility
- Mobile PDA systems experience
- Gold ECS NVQ Level 3 Card (desirable)
