Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems to a high standard
- Fault-finding and wiring for heating controls, door entry, and warden call systems
- Attend breakdowns and urgent repairs, including call-out rota
- Order parts and manage job schedules efficiently
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations
- Log updates using handheld PDA systems
- Liaise professionally with residents and clients
- Maintain PPE, tools, and testing equipment
- Produce certificates, job sheets, and reports
- Submit weekly timesheets and documentation
- Coordinate with plumbing and building teams
Experience Required
- Social Housing installation and maintenance experience
- Experience working with residents
- Domestic heating wiring experience (or willingness to learn)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to pass DBS check
Qualifications Required
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18)
- AM2
- C&G 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing
- Gold ECS NVQ Level 3 Card (desirable)
