Visosport Facilitator – Inclusive Sports Delivery
Location: Hampshire (sessions delivered locally within an agreed radius)
Pay: £35 per one-hour session (subcontractor basis)
About Visosport
Visosport is a fully inclusive,sports programme designed to engage adults of all abilities in fun, meaningful physical activity. We deliver sessions in Care Homes, Adult Disability Centres, community settings, and team-building environments across Hampshire.
With over 200 original inclusive games, Visosport helps participants build confidence, coordination, and decision-making skills while enjoying positive social interaction and movement.
The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and open-minded individuals to train as Visosport Facilitators. The role involves planning and delivering inclusive, seated sports sessions, primarily within Care Home environments.
This is a rewarding, flexible role suited to people who enjoy working with adults with varying physical and cognitive needs and who want to make a genuine difference to wellbeing and quality of life.
Training & Readiness
Before delivering paid sessions independently, new Facilitators complete a training and shadowing period.
- This typically involves 5–10 shadowing and practice sessions
- Shadowing and training sessions are unpaid
- Once assessed as ready, Facilitators move into paid delivery
Session Availability (once trained):
- Southampton area: 6–8 sessions per week currently available
- Portsmouth Area: Approximately 2 sessions per week initially, with opportunities to grow the timetable as more care homes are onboarded
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inclusive, seated sports sessions around tables
- Set up, organise, and pack away equipment
- Engage and motivate participants with encouragement and interaction
- Adapt activities to suit a wide range of abilities
- Maintain a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment
- Communicate professionally with residents and care staff
- Represent Visosport in a friendly and professional manner
About You
- Patient, enthusiastic, and inclusive in your approach
- Confident communicating with adults of varying abilities
- Organised, punctual, and reliable
- Able to work independently once trained
- Willing to learn and follow the Visosport delivery model
- Experience in care, sport, education, or support roles is desirable but not essential
Pay & Working Arrangements
- £35 per one-hour paid session
- Subcontractor role (monthly invoicing)
- Sessions scheduled around your availability
- Work allocated within an agreed travel radius
- Opportunities for progression as Visosport continues to grow
