We are currently recruiting a Technical Operations Coordinator for a permanent, full-time role.

Primary Purpose of the Position
To work as part of the Technical & Fleet Service team, ensuring a seamless transition for both the company and its customers through operational activities of cargo in line with customer standards and requirements. Provide excellent and professional customer service to all stakeholders, monitor daily requirements, and ensure tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
Duties Include:
- Manage and coordinate all activities within the Technical & Fleet Service department (e.g., BMSB, Bio Cleaning, PDI, washes and valets, iTOMS)
- Coordinate with 22 berth operations to ensure cargo is collected and located in preparation for Technical & Fleet Service activities
- Ensure all cargo allocated to a service has the relevant certificates and paperwork, and that these are distributed to the correct departments
- Support the terminal, vessel services department, and customers to ensure the successful completion and release of all cargo in a timely manner for vessel loading and direct deliveries
- Respond to emails and correspondence with customers promptly
- Accurately interface with the terminal operating system (iTOMS) in line with SOPs
- Accurately interface with customer internal operating systems to meet their specifications
- Provide excellent service to customers at all times
- Assist in other areas of Technical Services within skills level as required
- Support other areas of the wider business as reasonably required
- Act as an ambassador for the business by mentoring and setting a good example to others
- Assist with the organisation and repair of the fleet, including all associated paperwork
- Support the growth and development of the Technical Service department

- Ensure all work is carried out to the required standard as per department SOPs
- Deliver efficient service to all customers in line with agreed processes and expectations
- Ensure all equipment and tools provided are used and maintained according to company policies
- Ensure cargo is handed over to third parties within customer specifications
- Deliver on departmental KPIs as set by department heads and as contractually agreed with customers
- Understand and comply with GDPR legislation
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures at all times
- Ensure legal compliance within Technical Service activities
