We are currently recruiting a Technical Services Operative for a permanent, full-time role, starting in 2026.

Primary Purpose of the Position
To work as part of the Technical Services team to ensure the smooth day-to-day activity of loading and unloading customer units (trucks and container units). This includes ensuring customer machines are moved, checked, and processed ready for dispatch; undertaking all required administrative duties associated with machine dispatch; and assisting with other duties relating to activities undertaken in the facility.
Duties Include:
- Prioritise safety at all times
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and discharge of all products in line with stock locations, rotation, and company & customer policies
- Carry out all roles within your skills level in support of depot operations, including driving, operating construction machines (MHE), unit checks, collecting/receiving, scanning, and other ancillary duties
- Perform loading and unloading inspection reports
- Carry out periodic inventory checks on stock levels as required
- Complete all associated administration and checklists for allocated tasks
- Notify the Supervisor promptly if daily/weekly planning or targets cannot be met
- Strive for consistently high levels of productivity and customer service
- Interface with customers and third parties courteously and professionally
- Communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders about progress
- Ensure role-related equipment is in good condition and report any defects
- Maintain high standards of dress code, site housekeeping, and professionalism
- Accurately sort different types of waste in the appropriate bins
- Assist in other areas of the department and wider business as reasonably required and within skill level
- Act as an ambassador for the business by mentoring and setting a good example to others

Role Specific:
- Understand and follow applicable work and safety procedures

- Ensure stock levels are correct in the depot
- Deliver goods to production on time and within KPI timeframes
- Process shipments and deliveries in line with customer and contract requirements
- Sort and dispose of waste correctly and in line with regulations
- Keep the workplace organised according to the applicable 5S structure
- Ensure accurate scanning within the terminal operating system

Knowledge and Skills:
- MHE licenses including Forklift, Reach Truck, or willingness to obtain them
- Previous experience in a similar role in an EPC, depot, or warehouse environment
- Full, clean UK driving licence
